Privacy policy
We collect the minimum information needed to run the journal and respond to submissions.
Information you provide
Newsletter forms collect your email address. Editorial submissions may collect your name, email, photograph, technical details, story and portfolio link.
How it is used
We use this information to review submissions, contact contributors, publish approved work with attribution and send the newsletter you requested. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and deletion
Submission files are stored privately on our server. You may request removal of an unpublished submission or unsubscribe from email at any time by replying to a Shot on Fuji message.
Site operations
We use first-party, cookie-free audience measurement to understand which pages are useful. It records the requested page, referring domain, general device and browser type, language, timezone and a daily anonymous visitor identifier. The identifier is created from a one-way daily hash; raw IP addresses and full browser user-agent strings are not stored in the audience dataset.
Suspected automated traffic is classified separately from human visits using crawler signatures, browser automation signals and unusually high request rates. Audience records expire after 90 days. Global Privacy Control and browser Do Not Track signals are respected. Standard server security logs may still temporarily record IP addresses and requested pages for reliability and abuse prevention.
